OLONGAPO CITY – A high-value drug target and his two cohorts were arrested on Saturday in an entrapment by members of the PDEA Central Luzon and the local police in this city.
Authorities identified the suspects as Menandro Manuel, 43, of Amapola St., Bgy. Sta. Rita, Olongapo City; Angelo Llames, 19, of Bgy. Calapacuan, Subic, Zambales; and Ashley Maroto, 20, of Bgy. Gordon Heights, Olongapo City.
The anti-narcotic operatives swooped down at a makeshift drug den being operated by Manuel.
Confiscated from the suspects were six plastic sachets containing shabu worth P75,900, assorted drug paraphernalia and the marked money.
The suspects will be charged with violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
