PORAC, Pampanga – The TikTok video of Porac’s Fantastic 4 went viral, garnering 1.3 million views in just two weeks after it was posted on April 11.

The video featuring Second District Board Member Fritzie David-Dizon, former Porac three-term Vice Mayor Dexter David, Porac councilor candidates Bench Dizon and Roy Guanzon also had 51,000 likes on TikTok, 1,800 likes on Facebook and 41,100 views on Facebook in the same period. They danced to the tune of “Jumbo Hotdog” in front of the newly constructed Babo Robot Replica here.

“We want to give fun to the people of Porac because they had been badly affected by the Covid 19 Pandemic,” said David, who is seeking the vice mayoralty post. “They are tired and they need some relaxation.”

“We also want to give them peace of mind amid the bickering of two political parties in Porac,” added David, who was also a former councilor.

David stressed that “records show we are not just good on Tik Tok and putting some smiles on the faces of people but also in public service.”

“We have been tried and tested over the years,” he added.

David and his sister Fritzie and their late parents – former Porac Mayor Roy David and former Board Member Edna David – have been in public service for the past 42 years.

“At least one of us held a public post at every term for over four decades,” said David.

Bench, who is the son of Fritzie, was the brains behind their viral Tik Tok video and other social media posts of the Fantastic 4.

“I am just happy we gave a little entertainment in these trying times,” said Bench, who is a product of Ateneo de Manila University high school. The 21-year-old aspiring councilor is a 4th year student at the De La Salle University.

For her part, Frtzie said they are collectively aiming to “serve beyond the call of duty.”

Guanzon, a former long-time barangay captain, said they are go around the villages of Porac to know the needs and sentiments of their constituents.
