The 84th Infantry Battalion (84IB) conducted the outreach and gift-giving activity with Rotary Club of Makati-San Antonio and Rotary Club of San Jose Golden Harvest.

“We are grateful to 84IB for the partnership that brought this mission to success. Your initiative to help improve people’s lives is a special characteristic that we admire,” Rotary Club of Makati-San Antonio President Eiza Mendoza Espina said.

In behalf of the recipients, community leader Danny Balario expressed his gratitude to the group and the Army for being the recipient of the activity.

Part of the activity was an information awareness drive on how Communist Terrorist Groups exploit and deceive indigenous peoples through their propaganda machinery.

In a statement, 7th Infantry Division Acting Commander Brigadier General Luis Rex Bergante extended his gratitude to the Army’s partner-stakeholders for their initiative benefiting the Aeta Community.

He emphasized the importance of strong partnership in terms of delivering the basic social services for the people in far-flung communities.
