CLARK FREEPORT ZONE, Pampanga — Pampanga will soon be home to a modern public hospital that promises affordable and world-class transplant services, following the upcoming opening of the Pampanga Provincial Hospital–Clark, the first public hospital inside Clark Freeport Zone.
The state-of-the-art facility is envisioned to become a regional center for kidney and liver transplants in Central Luzon and beyond. With a capacity of 143 beds—including private, semi-private, and ward accommodations. The hospital will also offer complete clinical and diagnostic services and comply with DOH Level II standards.

During a site visit, Indian investor Dr. David K. Pillai, owner of Zenith International Pharmaceutical and Zenith International Realty, expressed his admiration for the facility.
“It’s like a hotel. It’s amazing! I’ve seen all the big hospitals in the Philippines but not as good as this one. This reflects good leadership and the fantastic vision of the government for the people,” he noted.

Dr. Pillai was joined by Governor Lilia “Nanay” Pineda, Board Member Fritzie David-Dizon, Board Member Dr. Kaye Naguit, Engr. Noli Pangan, Engr. Art Punsalan, and Dr. [Full Name] during the inspection.
Inspired by Pampanga’s commitment to accessible healthcare, Dr. Pillai announced plans to establish a transplant building and a medical school within the hospital compound to bring India’s renowned expertise in affordable, world-class healthcare services closer to Filipinos.

Once operational, Kapampangans and other patients from Luzon will no longer need to travel abroad for costly transplant operations, as the facility aims to provide procedures either free of charge or at minimal cost through provincial government support.
The hospital is targeted to open by the fourth quarter of 2025 and will serve over 100,000 workers and residents of Clark Global City and nearby communities.
Governor Pineda expressed her gratitude for the partnership, noting that the initiative reflects the Provincial Government’s mission to provide accessible and affordable medication for all.
