Bataan Capitol opens Tourism Park

BALANGA CITY – The Bataan Tourism Park – an open area where senior citizens can go for a leisure walk, a playground for kids, and a place where families can bond – is now open.

Located at the Bataan Tourism Center compound in this city, it aims for a healthy lifestyle movement, physically and mentally, thus creating a holistic development for every Bataeño, according to 2nd District Representative Jose Enrique Garcia III.

Its opening coincided with the lighting ceremony in time for the start of the holiday season.

“This ceremonial lighting symbolizes hope that if we continue to work hand in hand, we can overcome the challenges brought by the pandemic,” Garcia furthered.

For his part, Mayor Francis Garcia said parks will have a great effect for the well-being of people.

“This aligns with the city government’s goal to make Balanga a highly-livable place,” he said.
