SOME 110 law violators were apprehended during Bataan PNP’s Weeklong Simultaneous Anti-Criminality Law Enforcement Operations (SACLEO) from May 23 to 29.
Bataan police acting director Col. Rommel Velasco said 26 drug suspects were nabbed in different drug operations conducted in Abucay, Bagac, Balanga, Dinalupihan, Hermosa, Limay, Mariveles, Orani, Orion, Pilar and Samal.
At least 13 most wanted persons were nabbed by the police in Balanga, Dinalupihan, Hermosa, Limay, Mariveles, Morong, Pilar and Samal, while 43 wanted persons were apprehended in Abucay, Bagac, Balanga, Dinalupihan, Hermosa, Limay, Mariveles, Morong, Orani, Orion, Pilar and Samal for different violations.
Meanwhile, two loose firearms were confiscated by the Dinalupihan and Hermosa police and three were surrendered through Oplan Katok by the Bagac and Samal police.
In addition, 10 individuals were apprehended for violation of anti-illegal logging law in Hermosa and 18 were arrested in different anti-illegal gambling operations in Abucay, Bagac and Orion.
Velasco said the Bataan police are relentless in all its anti-crime drives despite the COVID-19 pandemic, following the marching order of PRO3 director Matthew Baccay.
