BCDA: Annual Balloon Fiesta back in Clark in February next year

The Bases Conversion and Development Authority has confirmed another staging of Philippine International Hot Air Balloon Fiesta at the New Clark City next year.

In a text message to this writer, BCDA President Jake Bingcang said that the PIHABF will be held on February 13 to 15 2026 at the NCC in Tarlac province.

Dubbed also as “Weekend of Everything that Flies”, the PIHABF is one of the most awaited sports spectacular in the Philippines.

Captain Joy Roa, PIHABF lead organizer, has earlier posted in social media the return of the event at New Clark City.

PIHABF has always been held inside Clark, with its 2023 staging at the New Clark City which is part of the Clark Special Economic Zone. It was held in Legazpi City in May last year.

The event gathers colorful dirigibles and ballooning enthusiasts from various parts of the globe.

The 9,450 hectare NCC was built by the BCDA. It also manages the place that hosts an Athletics arena, Aquatic center and athletes dormitories. It is also a mixed-use complex which hosts investors locators and various government agencies.
