
Best Western Plus Hotel Subic is set to expand its operation by establishing a new building beside its current hotel building at Subic Bay Freeport Zone.
The ₱600-million expansion project for the Best Western Plus Hotel Subic was solidified during the contract signing between the Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority (SBMA) and developer Simon & Stanley International Trading and Development Co. Inc.

SBMA Chairman and Administrator Eduardo Jose L. Aliño and Best Western Plus Hotel Subic and Savers Group Holdings, Inc. Chairman and CEO Jaime “Jack” Uy led the contract signing for the expansion project at the Boardroom of the Administration Building in Subic Bay Freeport on March 31, 2026.
Simon & Stanley International Trading and Development Co. Inc. Director and Savers Group Holdings, Inc. Vice President for Facility and Construction Architect Jayson Steffen Uy said that the hotel extension will have 120 extra rooms, several commercial spaces, three-floor parking, restaurants and parks.

He added that this will be considered as a new building but also an extension of Best Western with a committed investment of P1-billion. “With the current need for more spaces, function halls, and rooms, we decided to expand our operations in Subic,” he said.
The official stated that the design phase should be finished by this year or next year, citing that the construction will start by early as first quarter of next year. “As for employees, the company aims to get their manpower source here in Subic,” he furthered.

SBMA Director Ted Del Rosario, Senior Deputy Administrator (SDA) Renato Lee III, SDA Ramon O. Agregado, and other agency officials were also present during the said contract signing ceremony.
Chairman Aliño welcomed the expansion project of Best Western Plus Hotel Subic, citing the growing need of hotels and establishments in Subic Bay Freeport. He added that aside from the committed investment by the company, the agency also welcomes the job opportunities from the expansion project.
Best Western Plus Hotel Subic is the first internationally branded hotel in the Subic Bay Freeport Zone. It is a 4-star property located on Dewey Avenue, providing easy access to major commercial hubs like Harbor Point Mall (an 8-minute walk) and SM City Olongapo.
Savers Group Holdings Inc. is the owner and operator of Best Western Plus Hotel Subic and Best Western Plus Metro Clark in Angeles City, and is the exclusive developer for Best Western Hotels in the Philippines.
