Bulacan cops seize over P13-M shabu

CAMP OLIVAS – Central Luzon police director Brig. Gen. Matthew Baccay said Bulacan police on Friday confiscated more than P13 million worth of shabu  from a notorious drug trafficker in an  anti-drug operation  in Malolos City, Bulacan.

Baccay identified the suspect as trike driver Abubakar Sandigan alias Kapatid, 31,  of Bgy. 311, Quiapo, Manila, who was caught by operatives of the City Drug Enforcement Unit (CDEU), Malolos City Police Station (CPS).

Bulacan Police Director Col. Manuel M. Lukban said confiscated from the suspect were two plastic Chinese-labeled packs containing  shabu with DDB value of P13,600,000; a mobile phone; and the buy-bust money.

Sandigan is facing charges for violation of Article II, sections 5 and 11 of the Republic Act 9165, the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.

Baccay commended the Bulacan police for a job well done as he vowed that the Central Luzon PNP is committed to stop the proliferation of illegal drugs in the region.
