
In what can be described as a rare occasion, the top honchos of the countryβs two leading airlines make a pitch for the Philippines in a global aviation event.

Cebu Pacific CEO Michael Szucs (in yellow) and Philippine Airlines President Richard Nuttal (in blue) cited the recent economic gains and infrastructure development in the country as well as potentials for growth in the travel industry. The video interview during the Routes World 2025 in Hong Kong gave spotlight on the Philippines in one of the forums during the gathering of executives of airlines and airports and related industries from all over the globe.

In its website, Routes World said the spotlight βexplores the resilience of the market, the strategies driving recovery and growth, and the future outlook for one of Asia’s most dynamic air travel regions.β

Boosting efforts to bring in more airlines to Clark International Airport, LIPAD, BCDA and CIAC executives participated in Routes World 2025.
