Clark’s Valentine Treats

FILL your heart. Fulfill your cravings.

From mouth-watering steak to market-style hotpot, from fresh sea catches to healthy greens and crops… not to forget, those tempting desserts that make for an energized day. Or for a calming night.

Clark Freeport offers the best treats not just for couples this Valentine’s, but for weekend foodies, tourists and travelers. It’s a gastronomic delight for everyone.

Hilton Clark at Sun Valley, at the majestic uphill portion on the western side of the Freeport, has great offerings at its three F and B outlets.

At its poolside Olive Restaurant, one can enjoy not just the sight of rolling hills but also the weekend buffet starting February 11.  From an array of Oriental and Western cuisine, the Ranger’s Valley Australian Wagyu Rump is throned at the carvery section while seafood is aplenty in market-style cooking where they are boiled, then simmered, for that perfect feel and taste.

Lovers should not miss the February 14 special Valentine’s meal. The 3-course set menu starts with Tuna Tataki, Red sorrel, ponzu and warm artichoke shooter.

Main course will be a choice of pan-seared salmon with grilled asparagus, enoki crisps and champagne caviar sauce or filet mignon, asparagus, baby radish, truffle pea puree, and burgundy sauce.

Capping it will be a sweet cloud strawberry fantasy, infused strawberry hazelnut macaron, cream cheese mousseline, or dark chocolate straddle.

There is an option too for couples to get a Cabana that is inclusive of a sparkling wine or a rose to put more accent for a celebratory private moment.

Not to be outdone is the newly-opened Xi Restaurant where the best tofus, dimsums, dumplings, roasted Peking ducks and Chow Mein can be had.  It will offer a rare treat of set menus for couples (or the whole family) this February 14.

Hilton Clark’s Treat Bar is having its own special creations too.

In time for tea or coffee, its Strawberry Afternoon set consists of Chocolate Dipped Strawberries, Heart Macarons, Strawberry Tarts, and Turkey Ham and Strawberry Sandwich, among other decadent culinary creations. It showcases fresh strawberries from the North. This will be offered until the end of this lovers’ month.

The Treat Bar is also coming out of its formal cozy set-up as it eases down with some comic relief show. Dubbed as “Laugh of Love”, this February 18 show would definitely soften those stiff shoulders of Clark businessmen and their company. Clean fun (read: apt jokes) would make the sips so soothing and relaxing via the refined stand-up comedy acts.

Quest Hotel

At Charley’s Bar in Mimosa Filinvest, couples would surely be delighted by a romantic music courtesy of a saxophonist that will complement a dinner by the stars.

This Valentine treat at the newly renovated Quest Plus Conference Center and Hotel (formerly Chambers Hall during the American period) is described as a “chance to disconnect from the world and connect with your love.” It would be an impeccable isolation from the world as lovers insulate themselves with great food and romantic ambience where there will be moonlight serenade and wind music.

Quest also brings back, starting February 11, its “Mequeni Goes Live” – a weekend buffet dinner with a dropped down price. This, after the hotel successfully served as the Bubble community for past sports spectaculars such the 45th season of the PBA and FIBA Asia Qualifiers. The hotel was also the pleasant temporary home to those who sought momentary quarantine from travel abroad.

Clark Marriott

Valentine Dinner overlooking the sky and nightscapes of Clark would be superbly wonderful at classy Smoki MOTO at Clark Marriott. Yes, couples can say those sweet nothings once again while on the 17th floor, where a glimpse of the Zambales mountain ranges and the Sacobia Valley can delight early birds.

With nothing but its best offerings of American and Korean cuisine, lovers can have a 4-course dinner and glass of wine. The night is made more memorable for the lady with a long stem rose where she could also be taken for a dance with live sweet music.

Of course, Goji Kitchen+Bar, at Marriott’s ground floor will not be behind with its own treat for couples and the family.

Valentine’s dinner will be offered from February 12 to 14, giving busy partners and their friends more chances to savor not just the food but the company of their loved ones. It will be a sumptuous surf and turf dinner, long stem red roses and live entertainment that will cap the night.
