CAMP OLIVAS – PRO3’ stepped-up anti-crime operations resulted in the arrest of 508 individuals from January 17 to January 23.
Of the 508 arrests, 118 persons have standing warrants, 27 of whom are with strings of warrants ranging from homicide, rape, and frustrated murder; 229 were accosted for illegal gambling; 151 for illegal drugs; and 10 persons were apprehended for violating local ordinances and other special laws.
Some 360 plastic sachets of shabu weighing 140.75 grams with DDB value of P957,104.76 and 44 sachets of marijuana weighing ,562.70 grams valued at P307,524 were seized, while bet money amounting to P99,250 were confiscated.
Central Luzon police director Brig. Gen. Matthew Baccay said the PRO3 will keep its efforts to target lawless elements, ensuring that the communities are safer and more secure.
