Cong Jon Lazatin seen as ‘unifiying factor’ in bid for AC mayor

Congressman Carmelo “Jon” Lazatin II is being hailed as a “unifying factor” in his bid for mayor of Angeles City, uniting opposing figures during his barangay visits.

Vice Mayor Vicky Vega-Cabigting noted, “It’s a rare feat to see a leader uniting opposing figures in support of his bid. That says a lot about mayorable Jon Lazatin. People love and respect him.”

Political village rivals have shown Lazatin support in his visits to the barangays, showing his ability to bridge divides and promote alliance.

In Barangay Amsic, Barangay Chairman Gerom Costales and former Chairman Totoy Bibo Rogando walked side-by-side with Lazatin, while in Barangay Cutud, Brgy. Captain Jessie Masbang joined forces with former leaders Bobot Masbang and Bong Ferraris, all of whom accompanied Lazatin on his tour.

In Barangay Pandan, Lazatin brought together opposing figures, including Kapitan Cors Alejandrino and Kagawad Benny Villavicencio. In Jaoville, he brought together Muslims and Christians.

Residents have also witnessed Lazatin’s genuine efforts to connect with constituents across various backgrounds and political affiliations.
