FIRST DISTRICT, Pampanga – In the first 100 days of Carmelo “Pogi” Lazatin, Jr. as Representative of the Pampanga First District, 3,644 residents in the First District received assistance through the Ayuda para sa Kapos ang Kita Program (AKAP) of the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) and 317 residents received financial assistance from Lazatin’s office.
Some 802 residents from Angeles City and Mabalacat City received assistance during the payout held on September 24, 2025 at the covered court of Barangay Malabanias, Angeles City.
Likewise, 2,842 residents from Magalang Municipality received assistance during the payouts on October 7, 9, and 15, 2025 in Barangays Sta. Cruz, Ayala, and Dolores, respectively.
“Nagpapasalamat po ako sa DSWD sa pakikipag-ugnayan nila sa ating opisina para maipatupad ang programang ito sa Unang Distrito,” Lazatin said.
Meanwhile, 317 residents from the First District also received financial assistance directly from Lazatin’s office from July 1 to October 8, 2025.
These financial assistance are funded from Lazatin’s own pocket while the process of downloading funds from the Department of Health (DOH) is on-going.
In the coming days, some 13,273 residents from the First District are set to receive assistance through the AKAP in payouts to be held in Angeles City and Mabalacat City.
