
CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga – Police seized ₱1.7-million in shabu from a suspected notorious drug dealer during a major anti-drug operation in Barangay San Vicente, Sto. Tomas town on Feb. 25.
In his report to Police Regional Office 3 director Brigadier General Jean S. Fajardo, Colonel Jay Dimaandal, director of Pampanga Provincial Police Office, identified the suspect as “Nato”, 41, of Barangay Bulaon, City of San Fernando.
According to Dimaandal, the suspect is considered by the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency as a “High Value Individual” (HIV) because of his involvement in big-time drug dealing activities in Pampanga and nearby provinces.
Dimaandal said the suspect was caught red handed while receiving the marked money from an undercover cop posing as buyer in exchange of an undetermined amount of shabu during the buy-bust operation.
Dimaandal said the suspect was placed under heavy surveillance after confirming from PDEA of his involvement in illegal drugs. He was arrested by members of the Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit, policemen from Sto. Tomas Police Station and Central Luzon PDEA agents.

After the operation, police seized from the suspect’s a total of 255 grams of methamphetamine hydrochloride or shabu with an estimated street value of ₱1,734,000, as well as a blue Redmi mobile phone and a black Yamaha Mii (i-125) motorcycle.
