Mabalacat City Councilor Timothy Paul “Timmy” Dee has cited Mayor Cris Garbo for humility and loyalty.
In his FB post on Sunday, Dee has noted of the virtues shown by Garbo, even thanking him as he leads Mabalacat City.
“… thank you for your humility Boss Mayor (and) the most inportant lesson today (is) about loyalty,” Dee said in his post.
Dee’s social post came amidst developing news that Vice Mayor Geld Aquino has been forming his own line-up as he seeks the mayorship in next year’s election. Reportedly, Aquino will have Councilor Jun Castro as running mate. They are also purportedly recruiting other original members of Garbo’s political slate.
Garbo, Aquino, Dee and Castro, along with Councilors Cocoy Tiglao, Rox Pena, Carlo Dizon, Cherry Manalo, Noel Castro, Marjorie Sambo, Liza Pineda and Jerry Magsino were all under the same ticket and party in the 2022 local elections.
“… it doesn’t matter how long you’ve been together but during the most toughest time you stayed and you fought for what is right,” he added.
The FB post has heaped praises for Dee who, despite his physical disability, has been organizing medical outreaches and is also a known a volunteer firefighter.
He is also known for his philanthropic deeds and is considered the most humble city councilor in Mabalacat.
