CITY OF SAN FERNANDO – The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) has completed another off-carriageway improvement project in Lubao town, amounting to some P6.3 million funded under the 2022 national budget.
Implemented by the Pampanga 2nd District Engineering Office, it will give motorists faster and more convenient travel along the national tertiary road, according to District Engineer Gregorio Audea Jr.
“Construction activities began in April of this year and the project was completed ahead of schedule,” he shared.
Project scope includes upgrading of the 352.75-lineal meter road section and installation of road safety features such as reflectorized thermoplastic pavement markings and single arm posts with street lighting to ensure the safety of both pedestrians and motorists.
Audea assured that they will fast-track the implementation of road improvement projects within their jurisdiction to meet the growing need for better transportation infrastructure.
