GUAGUA, Pampanga (PIA) — The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) completed a P.4.9-million multipurpose building within the Sta. Cruz Elementary School in Lubao, Pampanga.
The 500-square meter covered court has a finished floor elevation of 0.40 meters, according to DPWH Pampanga 2nd District Engineer Gregorio Audea Jr.
He said the infrastructure has a ramp for persons with disabilities, and 10 LED lights were installed to ensure its usability at night.
“We hope that this project will help enrich the learning experience of the students who will become the future leaders of this country,” Audea pressed.
The DPWH allocated P4.9 million for the project under the 2023 General Appropriations Act. It will serve as a venue for teachers and students to hold school gatherings and extracurricular activities.
