Driving the wedge between vaccinated, unvaccinated

Pfizer – that powerful drugs firm blessed by alleged philanthropist Bill Gates who advanced pharmaceutical proprietary rights that countered an “open science” policy at the start of the coronavirus pandemic – must have successfully manipulated government leaders and mainstream media into instilling worldwide fear and thus, overreaction to Omicron which is scientifically reputed to be highly transmissible, but much less dangerous than the Delta variant.

Said one nurse from San Fernando: “I think there’s really a very powerful move for the vaccine stockpile of Pfizer to be sold and gone before Omicron ends the pandemic.”

Probably fresh from googling virus-stern France’s Macron, Pres. Duterte must have aped him to lumber anew on television and tell barangay chiefs to clamp down on the unvaccinated without mercy, to be backed up by the police of tokhang reputation if needed, as he held aloft the new virus bugbear.

This pandemic has gotten this world biblical, buttressing belief over the apocalyptic Mark of the Best that would rein over buying and selling. No less than a governor from Bicol, Joey Salceda, boosted this view by proposing to bar people from selling anything unless they are vaccinated against the coronavirus.

Later in the news, Duterte himself was a throwback to the German Reich ferreting out the Jews for the gas chamber.

Jail the unvaccinated in their homes, said an advisory from the Department of Interior and Local Governments (DILG) in Central Luzon. The unjabbed must also be deprived of access to land, water and air transport, nay, from anything that would make life comfortable for them.

The unvaccinated, who are probably aware that death is definitely one of the possible effects of emergency-level mRNA vaccinations, are all of a sudden criminals. Soon, the vaccinated would have an appropriate appellation for them, perhaps for convenience, perhaps out of derision – but one borne of the wedge now being driven between them, one that could spawn hatred of one towards the other.

I picked up from news that the Omicron-triggered lockdown in Metro Manila would again displace some 200,000 workers. Multiply this by the number of dependent spouses and children, helpless children, and anyone with conscience must be confronted with the question of whether lockdown remains best option for all.

Independent experts beyond the control of the World Health Organization (whose second biggest donor is, guess who but Bill Gates) are insisting on their still uncensored YouTube videos that there is a correlation, if not causation, between serious Covid 19 affliction and lack of Vitamin D. It is the vitamin that can be had only expensively from drugstores, but obtained free from natural sunlight. Lockdown, however, often means being roofed and walled, thus depriving one of convenient access to good morning sun.

Contradictions abound in this pandemic. Philippine government people and “experts” are hypnotizing Filipinos into the belief that vaccinations will deliver the country from the pandemic. A little googling, however, will tell us that the most vaccinated countries are again grappling with high rates of infections among the jabbed and that the vaccines do not prevent the vaccinated from contaminating others.

On television, vaccine czar of sorts Vince Dizon and health department officials have been saying repeatedly that while Omicron has been so far been observed to be not as severe as Delta, people must still rush for vaccines because there is no assurance the new variant (?) will not evolve into something fatal. And so they push people to vaccinations, forgetting that the mRNA vaccines also lack long term proof of safety. Nay, they will remain under emergency use classification until May 2, 2023 without the guarantee they will finally be declared officially okay for human use.

Meanwhile, we remain at the mercy of the decisions of a Duterte and his minions whose loyalty is perhaps fed by surveys showing, rather mysteriously,  that their president remains popular and would likely remain powerful in a new administration winning through his backing.

Apocalypse is in our midst.
