CITY OF SAN FERNANDO – Former president Gloria Macapagal Arroyo said her family supports the re-election bid of Governor Dennis “Delta” Pineda and Vice Governor Lilia Pineda “all the way”.
Reacting to former Candaba Mayor Jerry Pelayo’s supporting an opposition gubernatorial bet in the province, Arroyo said this is “his own personal decision.”
“My family supports Governor Dennis Pineda and Vice-Governor Lilia Pineda all the way,” Arroyo said in a statement.
Earlier, Pelayo has expressed his support to the candidacy of former Candaba Mayor Danilo Baylon to run for governor of Pampanga.
In a press release, Pelayo was described as a “staunch ally of former president Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo and in like manner to former Pampanga governor Lilia “Nanay Baby” Pineda”.
