CLARK AVIATION CAPITAL — As more anomalies are discovered, court cases filed and even suspensions roll in flood control projects, Pampanga Governor Lilia Pineda has but praises and apprehension for fellow cabalen, DPWH Secretary Vince Dizon.
During the oath taking ceremonies for new officers of the Pampanga Press Club, Pineda said that she worries for him while also expressing admiration for Dizon who is also a Kapampangan.
“Sobrang sipag tsaka saludo ako sa kababayan natin. Matapang, seryoso sa trabaho. Alam ko pagpapalain siya sa mga problemang hinaharap niya,” Pineda said.
Pineda also expressed concern for Dizon who assumed the scandal-rocked DPWH a few months ago.
“Yung kababayan natin hirap na hirap na siya. Naawa na ako sa kanya. Ayoko na siya panoorin. Naii-stress ako. Baka mauna pa ako magkasakit sa kanya,” she said.
The lady Governor said she doffs her hat for Dizon and remains hopeful that his efforts would yield positive results in the government’s campaign against corruption.
“Sobrang sipag tsaka saludo ako sa kababayan natin. Matapang, seryoso sa trabaho. Alam ko pagpapalain siya sa mga problemang hinaharap niya. Pwede natin siyang ipagmalaki,” she added.
Aside from administering the oath for new PPC officers, Pineda also signed a Memorandum of Agreement with Clark International Airport Corporation for the use of 6.5 hectares of land for food production here.
