
CITY OF SAN FERNANDO – The Pampanga Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Inc. (PamCham) welcomed Honorable Aileen S. Mendiola-Rau, Ambassador-Designate to Israel, to discuss potential business collaborations between Pampanga and Israeli enterprises.
This engagement marks a significant step in fostering innovation, trade, and investment opportunities between the two regions.
Recognizing Israel as a global leader in technology and innovation, and Pampanga as a key economic hub in Central Luzon, the discussion focused on building business partnerships in strategic sectors. These include agriculture, aquaculture, renewable energy, health technology, cybersecurity, and digital transformation.

PamCham President Atty. Paul L. Yusi expressed optimism about the collaboration, emphasizing the mutual benefits of technology transfer, trade expansion, and joint ventures that can elevate Pampanga’s industries.
Among the proposed areas of cooperation are:
- Agri-Tech & Smart Farming – Drip irrigation, greenhouse farming, and post-harvest solutions
- Aquaculture Development – Investment in fish ports, cold storage, and Israeli aquaculture systems
- Renewable Energy & Cleantech – Solar, hybrid energy, and waste-to-energy solutions
- Health Technology – Telemedicine, diagnostics, and collaboration with Israeli medical innovators
- Cybersecurity & Digital Transformation – IT security solutions, fintech, and e-governance systems
- Education & Innovation Exchange – Training programs, expert exchanges, and student collaborations

The meeting also laid the groundwork for upcoming initiatives such as a Pampanga-Israel Business Forum, a study tour to Israel, and pilot projects to test innovative solutions in the province.
With this promising dialogue, Pampanga and Israel move closer to establishing long-term partnerships that will drive economic growth and technological advancement for both regions.
