Jetstar Asia (3K) has resumed its services to Clark International Airport via flight 3K775 which took off from Singapore’s Changi Airport on June 16, 2024.
An event was held at CRK to welcome the flight which has 164 passengers, including one infant. It also sent off flight 3K776 with 173 passengers, including 2 infants.
The low-cost carrier’s fleet of Airbus A320s will operate four return services each week, increasing to five return services from October 18, 2024, to meet increasing demand, offering more than 90,000 low-fare seats between the two destinations next year.
CRK, the popular destination north of Manila, is a key destination for tourists and business travellers, as well as those visiting family and friends.
According to Jetstar Asia COO Geoffrey Lui, this route reinforced Jetstar Asia’s commitment to making the region more accessible.
“Clark serves as an important hub for both business and leisure travellers, and we are excited to offer more travel options for our customers,” Mr. Lui said.
“With so many reasons to visit Clark, our crew and our passengers have been looking forward to our return to this popular destination so it’s great to add Clark back to our network.”
President and CEO of Luzon International Premiere Airport Development Corp, manager and operator of Clark International Airport, Mr. Noel F. Manankil, shared his enthusiasm about the resumption.
“Today, we welcome Jetstar Asia back to Clark International Airport,” Mr Manankil said. “This eagerly anticipated event is not just a moment of celebration, but a showcase of the relationship history between Clark International Airport and Jetstar Asia.
“With heartfelt gratitude, we extend our warmest thanks, as we eagerly anticipate the comfort and flexibility this will bring to our passengers.”
The event also featured welcome remarks from BCDA President and CEO Engr. Joshua Bingcang, Department of Tourism – Region 3 Regional Director Richard Daenos, and Clark Development Corporation VP for Engineering Services Group Engr. Teresito Tiotuyco.
