BAGAC, Bataan – Las Casas Filipinas de Acuzar, a one-of-a-kind resort in Bataan, will host various events to celebrate Independence Day on June 12.
There will be a parade with marching band featuring the Saysain Marching Band from Bagac, Bataan. Then there will be a cultural show with Folk dances like Tinikling, Maglalatik and Sayaw sa Bangko.
The Las Casas’ Trio and Acoustic Duo will also perform.
There will also be film shows – “Heneral Luna” and “Bonifacio, ang Unang Pangulo”.
There will be a semi-musical play about Independence Day titled “Kalayan 2022: Pagsuong sa Hapon ng Panibagong Bukas” and Palarong Pambata from June 11 to 12.
A Sunday Mass will also be held at Sanctuario de San Jose on June 12 at 10:30 am.
Las Casas is home to close to 100 old houses and buildings which are original, while some are replicated.
