MABALACAT CITY — The city government, in line with its 10th Cityhood Anniversary, has opened the “Barangayanihan Caravan” at the Dolores Covered Court on Monday, July 25.
Various activities are lined up for the week-long celebration, including medical check ups; laboratory tests including HIV, Syphilis, RBS, and Dengue; cataract screening; dental check ups; chest x-rays; medical assistance; and circumcision of young boys through Operation Tuli.
Simultaneously celebrating Nutrition Month, the city government also held its Bangon Nutrisyon event at the Jade Hall as well as the awarding of the city’s Nutrition Heroes.
A Diskwento Caravan was also set up including distribution of seedlings and organic fertilizers, and local recruitment activity.
The Barangayanihan Caravan 2022 is set to continue at the Dau Central Elementary School on July 26, Filhomes Covered Court on July 27, and Mawaque Resttlement Covered Court on July 28.
