A known online seller and her husband, both from Mabalacat City, perished in an ambush in Barangay Sto. Rosario in Mexico town, perpetrated by two still unidentified suspects around 4PM on Oct. 4, 2024.
According to police reports, spouses Arvin Dayrit Lulu and Lerma Waje Lulu, from 264 Mampan St. Purok II Camachiles, Mabalacat City were traversing the area when the suspects fired at the victims.
They had just reportedly came from a meeting in the area, sources said.
The couple, who sustained gunshot wounds, were immediately taken to the Mexico Community Hospital in Barangay San Carlos but were declared dead on arrival by attending physician Dr. Eric Santos.
The suspects, meanwhile, reportedly fled towards the Jose Abad Santos Avenue area.
Their child and another relative repotedly survived the amubush. The police did not disclose any more details.
Lerms Lulu was a top distributor Brilliant Skin, and had her own line of beauty products.
Police are now investigating the incident, conducting dragnet operations in nearby municipalities and reviewing CCTVs in the area for the possible identification of the suspects.
