CABANATUAN CITY — The Nueva Ecija University of Science and Technology (NEUST) earns international recognition after being included in the AppliedHE Public University Ranking 2026.
NEUST is one of only 21 public universities in the Philippines included in the ranking, placing 103rd among public and private universities across the ASEAN region.
NEUST University President Rhodora Jugo said the inclusion of NEUST in the AppliedHE Public University Ranking affirms the institution’s mission to nurture minds, shape character, and serve society, with its impact extending beyond campus boundaries.
“NEUST’s ranking belongs to every administrator who leads with vision and integrity, every faculty member who teaches with purpose, every researcher who pursues knowledge with rigor, every staff member who serves with commitment, every student who strives to learn and lead, and every stakeholder and partner who continuously supports and believes in our shared mission,” Jugo reiterated.
The AppliedHE Public University Ranking ASEAN 2026, now in its third edition, features 115 public universities across the ASEAN region, reflecting increased participation among higher education institutions.
The ranking evaluates public and private universities across Asia based on community engagement, employability, student satisfaction, research excellence, internationalization, and peer recognition.
NEUST earns a total score of 28.28 across the six evaluation dimensions used in the AppliedHE Public University Ranking.
The inclusion further strengthens NEUST’s standing as a key public higher education institution advancing academic excellence, public service, and innovation in Nueva Ecija.
