The Angeles City government continues to conduct a series of city-wide inter-office rescue and saturation operations of displaced families, homeless street children and mentally-challenged individuals, in line with Mayor Carmelo “Pogi” Lazatin Jr.’s goal to prioritize the safety and welfare of Angeleños, according to Lazatin’s Chief Adviser IC Calaguas.
City Social Welfare and Development Officer (CSWDO) Edna Duaso shared that today’s operations show a total of 11 minors – 9 boys and 2 girls – rescued along Barangays Balibago and Malabanias.
According to Duaso, all children, elderly and individuals who will be rescued will be reintegrated into their families.
