CITY OF SAN FERNANDO – More than 700 scholars from the province of Pampanga have been granted financial aid through the help of the Educational Financial Assistance Program (EFAP) of the Provincial Government.
Governor Dennis “Delta” Pineda led the distribution of assistance to 637 deserving beneficiaries in Magalang and Mabalacat City on Tuesday, April 23. Each scholar was awarded Php4,000.
In his message, Gov Pineda emphasized the importance of education in shaping the future of the scholars.
“Right now atsu kayu king critical stage ng life you nak, yari yune ing highschool life. Ngeni, momolde ye sarili yu preparasyun para makapagobra kayu at mag-establish kareng pamilya yu,” he said.
Aeta Scholars
Some 134 Aeta scholars residing in the upland regions of the province were also beneficiaries of the assistance provided by the Capitol. In a separate distribution held at the Benigno Hall, Capitol Compound on Monday, April 22, each Aeta scholar received support not exceeding Php10,000.
