CAMP OLIVAS – With barely two months into the assumption of PRO3 director Brig. Gen. Matthew Baccay, the Central Luzon police launched 1,468 anti-crime operations from November 1, 2021 to January 31, 2022.
These police operations resulted in the arrest of 7,181 individuals – 2,318 of them have standing warrant of arrests for various crimes, 470 are most wanted persons, 2,075 were arrested for illegal drugs, 2, 756 were apprehended for illegal gambling, 23 were arrested for illegal logging and nine for illegal fishing.
Meanwhile, a total of 63 assorted firearms and 3 explosives, 8.11 kilograms of shabu with DDB value of at least P55 million, 38.59 kilograms of marijuana amounting to nearly P5 million and almost P1 million cash bets were confiscated along with the seizure of more than P1 million worth of lumber.
“With these accomplishments, we will continue to launch police operations these coming days to sustain our fight against all forms of lawlessness in the region anchored on the directives of our PNP chief Gen. Dionardo Carlos,” Baccay said.
