CAMP OLIVAS – Police arrested a vendor on Saturday and seized from him over P2.3 million worth of illegal drugs in a buy-bust in Mabalacat City.
In a report to PRO3 director Brig. Gen. Matthew Baccay, Pampanga police commander Col. Robin Sarmiento said joint operatives of the Regional Drug Enforcement Unit and Mabalacat police conducted an entrapment in front of the Jose C. Feliciano College Foundation in Bgy. Dau, Mabalacat City which led to the arrest of vendor Rasul Sadic alias “Elyas”, of Bgy. Pandan, Angeles City Pampanga.
Seized from Sadic were three pieces of knot-tied ice plastic bags and 11 plastic sachets containing shabu weighing at least 350 grams with DDB value of P2,380,000, the P1,000 marked money, a cellular phone and a black bag.
The suspect will be charged for violations of Section 5 and 11, Article II of RA 9165.
“All police units are working closely together to stop the proliferation of illegal drugs not just in the region but the entire country, and we appeal to everyone to continue helping us in this fight,” Baccay said.
