CAMP OLIVAS — PRO3 director Brig. Gen. Matthew Baccay announced on Monday the arrest of two drug peddlers and confiscation of at least P2.5M worth of shabu in separate drug operations in Pampanga.
Joint operating troops of RPDEU-3, SCU3-RID, and the Mabalacat police conducted a buy-bust in Bgy. Mawaque Maragul, Mabalacat City, which resulted in the arrest of Julius Guillermo, 30. Seized from him were eight plastic sachets containing shabu, weighing at least 305 grams valued at P2,074,000, a cell phone, one body bag and the marked and boodle money.
Meanwhile, members of the PDEU/PIU Pampanga and Sta. Rita police nabbed in Bgy. Dila Dila, Sta. Rita suspect Jean Dantes, 53, who yielded three plastic sachets of shabu worth at least P374,000, a cellular phone, a pouch and the buy-bust money.
The two suspects will be charged with violation of RA 9165.
“We are continuously conducting proactive operations against all forms of illegal drugs in the region and we will not stop until we achieve our quest for a drug-free Central Luzon,” Baccay said.
