P6.8M shabu seized near Angeles City bus terminal

CAMP OLIVAS — Around 1 kilo of methamphetamine hydrochloride or shabu with a street value of P6.8 million was seized on Monday in Angeles City.

Angeles City police director Col. Rommel Batangan said his men conducted a buy-bust operation on Henson St. in front of the Philippine Rabbit Bus Station in Bgy. Lourdes Northwest, Angeles City which resulted to the arrest of Jerome Aguilar alias Jeff, 30, of Bgy, Tagumpay, Quezon City.

Batangan said confiscated from him were 10 plastic ice packs containing suspected shabu worth at least P6.8 million, one P1,000 marked money and one bundle of P1,000 boodle money. 

“Your police here in Central Luzon will not let-up on the crackdown on all forms of lawlessness especially illegal drugs amid this pandemic, as we continue to deliver the best police services to the communities of Region III,” PRO3 director Brig. Gen. Valeriano de Leon said.
