
Philippine Airlines (PAL) has been voted as the second most preferred airline in Southeast Asia in the recently concluded 2025 Flyers’ Choice Awards by AirlineRatings.com, a trusted global source for airline safety and product ratings covering more than 385 airlines around the world.
The customer-driven ratings site – managed by experienced aviation editors and industry professionals – combines expert analysis with passenger feedback and passenger votes.
Travelers were invited to vote starting April 3, 2025. Airlines were classified by region and across unique categories such as Best Cabin Crew, Best Uniform, and Greatest Peace of Mind.

The Flyers’ Choice awards offer authentic insight into real passenger preferences, based on thousands of verified votes, and are widely followed across the aviation and travel industry.
Early this year, the airline was named the Best Travel Brand, ranking first in the Philippines and second in Southeast Asia, according to Campaign Asia-Pacific’s Southeast Asia’s Top 50 Brands. In addition, the flag carrier was ranked among the Top 10 Best Asia Pacific Airlines and the most punctual in the region last April 2025, posting an impressive 86.07% rate, based on a Cirium report.
