PamCham elects new Chairman of the Board

The PamCham Board of Directors convened for a special meeting recently to elect a new chairman, following the retirement of former chair Rene G. Romero.

Romero, who has dedicated years of service to the board, has decided to pursue other socio civic opportunities with the Philippine Chamber Development Institute, Inc. (PhilCDI).

The board’s choice for the new chairman is Jim Jimenez, a seasoned member of PamCham who brings a wealth of experience to the position. Jimenez has served on the board for 18 years and has held significant roles, including President and Vice-Chairman, throughout his tenure. His election marks a moment of full-circle achievement, as he now steps into the leadership role he was well-prepared for.

“We are incredibly excited to welcome Mr. Jimenez as our new chairman,” said lPamCham president Atty. Paul Yusi. “His extensive background and dedication to our organization will undoubtedly lead us into a new era of growth and collaboration.”

As the new chairman, Jimenez is expected to guide the board in continuing its mission to support and advocate for the businesses within the Pampanga region, ensuring that PamCham remains a vital resource for its members.

In light of his predecessor’s impactful legacy, Jimenez looks forward to building upon the initiatives established under the leadership of previous chairmen, while also introducing fresh ideas to bolster PamCham’s community engagement and outreach.
