PamCham leaders visit homegrown Kapampangan ramen brand in QC

The Pampanga Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Inc. (PamCham) continues to support and recognize the success of Kapampangan businesses, as its executives and board of directors recently visited Makimura Ramen Bar’s first Metro Manila branch at SM City North Edsa, Quezon City.

Leading the visit were PamCham Chairman Rene Romero, President Atty. Paul Yusi, and members of the board of directors, who commended the brand’s impressive growth and expansion beyond Pampanga.

Founded by a young Kapampangan couple, Makimura started as a small ramen stall in a Barangay Balibago parking lot in 2018. Thanks to its high-quality yet affordable ramen, the brand has built a loyal following, now boasting 11 branches across Pampanga, Zambales, Tarlac, Baguio City, and Metro Manila. Two more locations are set to open this year at The Infinity in Angeles City and San Rafael, Tarlac.

Since joining PamCham, Makimura has engaged with fellow entrepreneurs, gaining insights and networking opportunities through the Chamber’s various initiatives, including business expos, mentorship programs, and partnerships with key organizations. While Makimura has thrived through its strong brand and customer support, the Chamber provides an additional platform for local businesses to connect and grow.

PamCham’s leadership visit to Makimura’s first branch in Metro Manila reflects their commitment to supporting and celebrating Kapampangan entrepreneurs who are making a
mark in the industry.

As Makimura continues its expansion, it serves as a shining example of how homegrown businesses can succeed and bring Kapampangan flavors and excellence to a wider market.
