LUBAO, Pampanga — The biggest and most advanced motorsports complex in the country officially broke ground on June 22 at the 42-hectare Pradera Verde Racing Circuit (PRVC) in Barangay Sto Niño here.
PRVC, designed by internationally renowned firm Tilke Engineers & Architects, will soon be a game changer in Central Luzon, according to PRVC President and businessman Rodolfo “Bong” Pineda.
Carrying the slogan “Precision. Power. Pradera,” the venue is poised to position Pampanga as a premier destination for motorsports tourism in Southeast Asia.
According to Pineda, it has been his dream to bring global attention to Lubao and Pampanga through sports and tourism.
“We want to uplift the local economy by building world-class recreational hubs that put our province on the map,” he said.
Meanwhile, Hisham Ibrahim of Tilke Engineers & Architects – the German design powerhouse behind many of Formula 1’s most iconic tracks – said: “This racetrack is a reflection of Mr. Pineda’s foresight and deep love for community and progress. And we are honored to help bring this vision to life.”
PRVC aims to transform Central Luzon into a racing destination—featuring a 4.8-kilometer circuit with 17 turns, multiple configurations, a drag strip, and a future-forward V-shaped pit building with 44 garages.

Aside from racing, PRVC will also offer training programs, trackside villas, and community initiatives that promote local talent and tourism.
Pineda said the construction is expected to be completed in 18 months, with inaugural events planned soon after.

“This is more than a racetrack. It’s a symbol of growth, opportunity, and world-class ambition for Pampanga,” Ibrahim said.

Lubao Mayor Esmeralda Pineda said
the project is expected to boost tourism, generate employment, and spark economic activity not only in this town but across the region.
