In her message, SMHCC Executive Vice President Peggy Angeles reflected on the hotelโs remarkable journeyโone that began exactly 10 years ago, fittingly on Pampanga Day.

โTen years marks aluminum โ symbolizing flexibility and resilience,โ she shared, noting how Park Inn by Radisson Clark has embodied both qualities as it navigated challenges and continued to thrive. From its beginning with 154 well-appointed rooms, the hotel stood as the second international hotel brand brought to the Philippines by the SM group.
Angeles emphasized that Park Inn by Radisson Clark is now perfectly situated within Clarkโs rapidly growing landscape, serving guests from across nationalities and playing a pivotal role in the provinceโs tourism and business scene.
Its stellar reputation, she added, is built on the dedication, talent, and resilience of its team โ people who have shaped the hotelโs identity over the years.

General Manager Lorenzo Tang, who has witnessed much of the hotelโs evolution, also shared his reflections.

โWhat began as a building with 155 rooms has welcomed countless guests through the years,โ he said. The hotelโs growth accelerated in 2021, when it opened its second wing, bringing its total inventory to 254 rooms.
Tang highlighted the strategic expansion within the SM City Clark complex, especially with the adjacent SMX Convention Center Clark, now rising as a key player in the regionโs MICE landscape. Clarkโs recent nomination as a Leading Asian MICE Destination, he noted, is a testament to how far the region has come.
Looking ahead to 2026, Tang teased another chapter of expansionโone that will stay rooted in serving the local community while presenting โa successful model for all the others.โ While details remain under wraps, he promised something โbig and exciting,โ hinting at another major development within the integrated SM City complex.
