
CITY OF SAN FERNANDO — Representatives from the 21 local government units in the province are currently undergoing a 3-day Provincewide Greenhouse Gases (GHG) Inventory Training Workshop initiated by the Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (PDRRMO).
Upon the instruction of Governor Dennis Delta Pineda, the training — in coordination with the Department of Environment and Natural Resources – Environment Management Bureau (DENR-EMB) — aims to equip participants with necessary baseline data and climate indicators to guide local plans and PPAs involving Climate Change Adaptation and Mitigation.
The GHG Inventory Training Workshop will run until October 14.

PDRRM Officer Angie Blanco welcomed the participants from all 21 local government units of Pampanga during the opening program held October 12, at the Orchids Garden here.
The training participants include City/Municipal DRRM Officers, Environment and Natural Resources Officers, Planning and Development Coordinators, Engineers, Accountants, and Agriculture Officers.

The GHG Inventory Training is one of the province’s initiatives to pursue disaster resilience.
