CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga – The Central Luzon police is gaining ground against illegal drugs by delivering a decisive blow to a criminal network of drug distributors in the region.
Brigadier General Jean S. Fajardo, director of the Police Regional Office 3, said they were able to crush the illegal drugs operation in the region through an aggressive and relentless anti-drug campaign that led to 619 successful operations for the whole month of January 2025.
Fajardo said the operations resulted in the arrest of 914 drug offenders and the seizure of illegal substances worth over ₱26 million. Among the seized contraband were 3,764.19 grams or 3.8 kilos of methamphetamine hydrochloride (shabu), 4,952.10 or 4.9 kilos of marijuana and 26.24 grams of kush with a total estimated street value of ₱26,230,124.82.
According to Fajardo, the arrest and drug busts represent a significant victory in the ongoing campaign against illegal drugs.
“I am sending a clear message to criminal syndicates that their illegal drugs operations will not be tolerated in Central Luzon,” Fajardo said.
