Rebel member in Tarlac surrenders

CAMP OLIVAS – A former member of a communist terrorist group on Thursday surrendered to authorities in Tarlac.

PRO-3 director Brig. Gen. Valeriano de Leon said members of the San Jose police and the 304^th RMFB3 facilitated the surrender of CTG member identified as “Ka June”, male, 27, a garbage collector and resident of Sitio Banquireg, Bgy. Iba, San Jose, Tarlac.

“Ka June” turned over to authorities a .38 revolver with three live bullets.

De Leon said the PNP and the Regional Task Force to End Local Communist Armed Conflict (RTF-ELCAC) and other concerned agencies will remain committed to end insurgency in the region.
