Serial rapist nabbed in Pampanga

CITY OF SAN FERNANDO, Pampanga – A man tagged by the police as the second most wanted person in the province was arrested on Saturday in Barangay Natividad, Guagua, Pampanga.

Police Colonel Jay C. Dimaandal, director of the Pampanga Provincial Police Office, said the 30-year-old suspect was arrested based on an arrest warrant issued by the Regional Trial Court, Branch 53 in Guagua, Pampanga on January 27, 2025.

Dimaandal said the suspect, identified only as alias “Barok”, was arrested by joint elements of the Guagua Police Station, Provincial Intelligence Team and Regional Intelligence Unit 3 based in Camp Olivas, Pampanga. The suspect, he said, is facing multiple charges in court including two counts of rape and sexual assault which are all non-bailable including a case of acts of lasciviousness with a bail set at P180,000.

With this development, Dimaandal urged the public to stand with authorities in the fight against crime by reporting information that will lead to more arrests.

“We will hunt them down and bring them to justice as the province will not be a safe haven for criminals,” he said.
