
CITY OF SAN FERNANDO – Executives from the Social Housing Finance Corporation (SHFC) inspected the Crystal Peak Estates in Brgy. Del Carmen in this city over the weekend.

Leading the inspection were SHFC President and CEO Rico Laxa and SHFC Board of Directors.

This social housing project will have 10,308 units and 28 buildings once fully completed.

The SHFC will soon turn over four 12-storey and 24 16-storey buildings, with 977 residential condominium and 19 commercial units, to members of the Jose Abad Santos HOA, Inc. (Cluster A).

SHFC is the lead government agency that undertakes social housing programs that will cater to the formal and infromal sector in the low income bracket, and is in charge of developing and administering social housing programs.

The developer and contractor of Crystal Peak Estate is Kaerland Development Corporation.

Laxa said that Crystal Peak Estates is among the leading 4PH projects initiated by the SHFC under the Marcos administration.

He said that the housing project is situated on an 8-hectare property which offers a township living style.
The condo units will be turned over having a standard finish such as tiled floors, painted walls and ceiling, and installed electrical and plumbing fixtures. Furthermore, current amenities include a clubhouse, basketball court, and swimming pool. Future development includes mini market, tricycle terminal, and provisions for basic social services such as school, health center, and police station. The project’s strategic location, close to public institutions and commercial establishments, further enhances its attractiveness.

Prandy Vergara, 4PH officer-in-charge for Central Luzon, said that the property is accessible by land transportation through Jose Abad Santos Avenue National Road, then through a 6-meter wide unnamed barangay road and the 6-meter wide Sampaloc Road.
He added that alternatively, the property can also be accessed by land transportation through Jose Abad Santos Avenue National Road then through the Paskuhan Road then through Sampaloc Road.


Vergara added that the housing project is located near commercial, residential and business establishments namely S&R Membership Shopping, St. Francis Village Phase 3, St. Francis Academy of Pampanga, Green City Medical Center, San Fernandino Hospital, Dolores Police Station, Wood Grove Park, NLEX San Fernando Exit, Del Carmen Brgy. Hall, Del Carmen Integrated School, Robinsons Starmills and SM Pampanga.
