SM Malls in North Luzon joined the nation in celebrating the country’s 125th Independence Day, highlighting the resilience and strength of the Filipino spirit, especially in these trying times.
According to SM officials, they are proud to be part of this celebration and to showcase the Filipino pride and patriotism.
The annual celebration is participated by employees, tenants, and shoppers of the mall, as well as the communities where SM serves.
SM City Pampanga carried out its flag ceremony at The Event Center, led by SM Supermalls Assistant Vice President for Operations North 5 Andrea Madlangbayan-Rodriguez.
Provincial Tourism Officer Randy Del Rosario, Municipality of Mexico Information Officer Nathaniel Bondoc, City Administrator of the City of San Fernando Nelson Lingat, Municipality of Mexico Vice Mayor Rodrigo Gonzales, PNP City of San Fernando Police Captain Don Kenneth Asuncion and PNP Mexico Police Corporal Jenner L. Calingayan, and a representative from the Bureau of Fire Protection Region 3 are among those attending the celebration.
SM City Pampanga Mall Manager Aaron Montenegro and Assistant Mall Managers Charm Bacani and Lester Pamintuan were also present.
SM City Clark, on the other hand, hosted the event on the front covered walk. Col Luisito Angeles Jr., DWC 420tg MW, Col Alfredo G. Antonio JR, Director of Operations TOWNOL, Col Henry D. Estoesta, CCS AFRC, Col Augusto Padua, ADC, and Engr. Junias M Eusebio, SAVP of Operations North, were all in attendance.
Meanwhile, the Philippine Air Force is holding a display of combat weaponry and equipment to commemorate its 76th anniversary.
SM Telabastagan also staged its ceremony on the front covered walk, in conjunction with a job fair at the Mall Atrium. The flag was raised in SM City San Fernando Downtown on the 6th level Parking Area.
Elenita Ordonio, Provincial Director of DTI, Police Capt. John Ignacio, Provincial Substation Commander PNP, and SF03 Sherwin Fernandez, Sr. San Fernando, Pampanga Fire Officer were among those in attendance.
According to SM, their malls in North Luzon are committed to serving the needs of the community while providing a safe and enjoyable shopping experience for everyone. With this year’s Independence Day celebration, they said SM Malls are reminded of the importance of unity and solidarity in achieving a better future for the Philippines.
