As the title says, Mekeni Food Corporation President Prudencio Garcia has been scoring triumphs on these two endeavors.
Pruds, to many of friends and family, is fond of work dogs with his Belgian Malinois, much like their company’s famous Picnic Hotdogs, are getting recognitions.
At the 102nd Trials of the Philippine Mondioring Association recently held in Lipa City, Batangas, Team Mekeni captured two coveted places.
First is Champion in CAT 2 level, “Big Ben Get Ganster”, while another Malinois named “Made For Action Ulianna” emerged as 3rd place in CAT 1. The dogs belonging to CK9 Balatuba Club were handled by Ferdinand Aureus. They were adjudged by Monsieur Thierry Lepellec from France.
Two years ago, Big Ben won in international competitions in the Czech Republic and Austria while Ulianna has also emerged as champion in his first competition during the 98th trials in the Philippines.
Garcia credits his success in mondioring and production of hot dogs and other food products to his team and employees. Mekeni is a grand slam winner of Best Meat Processing Plant given by the National Meat Inspection Commission.
The 102nd trials were organized by PMRAI President Atty. Albert Pabilona and hosted by ERK9 Training Club. Sponsors are Philippine Canine Club Inc. , and Inukshuk Professional Dog Food.
