Tarlac launches ‘One Tarlac, One PLACE’

The Northern Luzon Command (NOLCOM) AFP, Tarlac Police Provincial Office (TPPO), and the Provincial Government of Tarlac launched the One Tarlac, One PLACE (PNP-LGU-AFP Collaborative Efforts) initiative on January 27 at the Tarlac Provincial Capitol.

This unified security coordination effort aims to strengthen collaboration among law enforcement agencies, local leaders, and community stakeholders to sustain peace in the province.

During the launch, a joint declaration was signed, reaffirming the province of Tarlac’s state of stable internal peace and security and adopting the PNP-AFP Collaborative Efforts program. As well as the signing of the Joint Security Implementation Plan symbolizing the commitment to the One Tarlac, One PLACE Collaborative Efforts.

NOLCOM Commander Lt. Gen. Aristotle D. Gonzalez, PAF, said that “One Tarlac, One PLACE” is a unified approach that complements information sharing, resource allocation, and community engagement to prevent threats and respond effectively to emerging security threats.

As the Tarlac provincial government reinforced its commitment to sustaining peace and security, Governor Christian Tell A. Yap thanked everyone for their collaborative efforts and also recognized the partnership with the AFP and PNP that has always been anchored in nation-building and addressing socio-economic needs.

It can be recalled that the province of Tarlac was Declared in a Status of Stable Internal Peace and Security on June 23, 2023 through Tarlac Provincial Peace and Order Council Resolution No 2, Series of 2023.
