Thousands attend Alyansa rallies in Pampanga

CITY OF SAN FERNANDO, Pampanga —Despite President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.’s veto on the Pampanga Culinary Capital bill, thousands of Kapampangans attended the simultaneous rallies of the Alyansa Para Sa Bagong Pilipinas senatorial bets.

Pampanga Governor Dennis “Delta” Pineda and Vice Governor Lilia Pineda, during the events, expressed gratitude to the senatorial candidates of Alyansa who visited the province on Wednesday to share their platforms and show their solidarity with Kapampangans.

The Pinedas also welcomed the Alyansa bets, highlighting the importance of the candidates’ support to Pampanga’s continued progress.

He also thanked the candidates for taking the time to visit Pampanga, strengthening the bond between national leaders and local communities, and showing their commitment to uplifting the lives of Kapampangans.

The governor’s message of appreciation resonated across four indoor rallies where the Alyansa slate presented their platforms. Among the candidates were former Interior and Local Government Secretary Benhur Abalos, Makati City Mayor Abby Binay, Senator Ramon Bong Revilla, Senator Pia Cayetano, Senator Lito Lapid, former Senator Manny Pacquiao, former Senate President Vicente “Tito” Sotto III, Senate Majority Leader Francis “Tol” Tolentino, ACT-CIS Representative and former Social Welfare Secretary Erwin Tulfo, and Deputy Speaker Camille Villar.

Local officials and supporters listened to the candidates during the events held at the Lapid Arena Sports Complex in Angeles City, the Laus Events Center, Kingsborough International Convention Center, and the culminating grand assembly at the Bren Z.
