The Department of Tourism Region III (DOT III), in partnership with Cebu Pacific Air and Luzon International Premiere Airport Development Corporation (LIPAD) successfully organized the Central Luzon Familiarization Tour for VisMin Travel Associations (VisMin TAs) held from 25 to 27 September 2025.
The initiative was designed to position Clark International Airport (CRK) as the premier gateway to explore the rich cultural heritage, diverse attractions, and vibrant gastronomy of Central Luzon.
The three-day program highlighted an immersive itinerary showcasing CRK’s neighboring destinations, including the Clark Freeport Zone, Angeles City, the City of San Fernando, and the Municipality of Sto. Tomas in Pampanga. Participants were treated to authentic culinary experiences and cultural encounters that underscored the unique character of the region.
On the second day, the tour featured a Business-to-Business (B2B) session, providing VisMin TAs with an avenue to engage with Central Luzon’s travel agents, tour operators, and stakeholders. The session fostered valuable partnerships, broadened networks, and opened opportunities to enhance tour packages promoting Central Luzon.
Prior their departure, the group was hosted by LIPAD, which offered an exclusive tour of Clark International Airport. The activity showcased CRK’s world-class facilities and services, further emphasizing its role as a modern and efficient hub for local and foreign travelers.
Soon, a product updating session with the VisMin TAs will follow in measuring the effectivity of the B2B session particularly on their sales report.
