122K marijuana seized, 21 offenders arrested in Bulacan police operations

CAMP GEN ALEJO S SANTOS – Some 14 drug suspects, six wanted felons and a pimp were arrested on Monday and over P120,000 worth of marijuana was seized in a series of anti-crime operations by Bulacan cops.

Bulacan police acting director Col. Rommel Ochave said  P122,169 worth of marijuana, weighing at least 1,018 grams, were seized by anti-drug operatives from two suspects in a  buy-bust in Bgy. Patubig, Marilao, Bulacan.  The suspects were identified as Jonh Rupert Santos of Lambakin; and Arnold Julius Sangle, of Loma De Gato.

A series of anti-drug busts conducted by the Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) of Bulacan, Bocaue, Baliwag, Bustos, Hagonoy and Angat police resulted in the arrest of 11 drug peddlers and confiscation of some 37 sachets of shabu, assorted drug paraphernalia and marked money.

Members of the Malolos City police, meanwhile, arrested Alexander Operio in an Oplan Sita operation in Bgy. Guinhawa, Malolos City.

He tried to evade arrest but was later apprehended and seized from him was one folded paper containing marijuana.

The tracker teams of 1st PMFC, Marilao, Balagtas, Hagonoy, Guiguinto, Meycauayan City police together with the 301st MC RMFB3 apprehended six wanted felons.

An entrapment by the CIDT Bulacan PFU together with the Malolos City police led to the arrest of Vicente Solana, 41, an alleged manager-cum-pimp in Bgy. Sto. Rosario, Malolos City.

Solana was arrested for anti-trafficking after he was caught in the act of exploiting his victims and receiving marked money from a poseur client.

Bulacan police remains steadfast in implementing its campaign against all forms of crimes as directed by the PNP chief Gen. Dionardi Carlos and PRO 3 director Brig. Gen. Matthew Baccay.
