CITY OF SAN FERNANDO – A total of 17 scholars of the provincial government of Pampanga recently passed the government’s licensure examinations for professionals, including one who was among the Top 10 in the Teachers’ Licensure Exam (TLE).
Gov. Dennis ‘Delta’ Pineda congratulated the 17 passers on Monday, who received the Educational Financial Assistance Program (EFAP) of the Capitol. Among the recipients is Edmond Ocampo Jr., who ranked sixth in the TLE.
The other passers were Jessa Batac, Ryen Timpug, Carl Nichole Paguio, Louie Santiago, Sandra Nicolle Santos (BS Civil Engineering); Edcel Bondoc, Winnie Cunanan, Apple Joy Lacap, Cherry Lou Palomo, Mary Rose Tañedo, Ange Mica Santos, Mary Jane Suba, King Lionel Yusi (BS Elementary Education); Mary Margie Galus, Sherry Anne Humao-As (BS Secondary Education); Jonard Mercado (BS Pharmacy).
They received the amounts P5,899 to P14,400 for the reviews, after being beneficiaries of EFAP for four years or P3,000 per semester. Most of them are graduates of the Don Honorio Ventura State University in Bacolor town.

From 2019 to 2021, the EFAP has assisted 49,375 Grade 12 graduates, 52,303 college students, 9,330 Alternative Learning System students, 221 teachers taking masters in education and 1,815 board examinees and reviewers.
